Draft for legal review. Have a lawyer check these before launch.
Lost Circle is not an emergency service
SOS and Safe Walk alert the people in your circle. They don’t contact the police, an ambulance or the fire brigade. Alerts depend on your phone, its battery, its network and the people receiving them, so they can be delayed or fail.
In an emergency, always call your local emergency number, such as 112 in India.
Your account
You must be 18 or older, give accurate details and keep your sign-in secure. You’re responsible for what happens on your account.
Community reports
Hazard, fraud and lost & found reports come from other users. We moderate them, but we can’t guarantee they’re accurate. Use your own judgement, and meet in busy public places when handing items over.
What you mustn’t do
- Track anyone without their knowledge and consent, or add someone to a circle against their will.
- Post false reports, or claim items that aren’t yours.
- Harass, threaten or scam other users.
- Misuse SOS, or try to break or overload the service.
We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
Your content
You own what you post. You let us show it to other users and use it to run Lost Circle for as long as it’s up.
Liability
As far as the law allows, Lost Circle is provided as is. SIAIZ isn’t liable for losses caused by missed or delayed alerts, inaccurate reports, or dealings between users.
Changes and governing law
We’ll tell you about material changes before they take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Pune have jurisdiction.
